It was the beginning of an era for University of Memphis Women’s Basketball in May 2008 when Melissa McFerrin became the program’s head coach.  Coach McFerrin and her staff have created a new excitement about UofM Women’s Basketball on campus, among alumnae and in the community.  With several key returners, exciting new players and a fast paced style, the Tigers are excited to tip off a new year.  Now in their second season, they continue to build a solid foundation for the future and aim to become the “Class of Conference USA.”
