Fastbreak Club

The Fastbreak Club is an organization that was set up to ensure that the student athletes have the best academic and athletic experience possible while at the University of Memphis. Annually the Fastbreak Club hosts various events.
These events are designed to bring increased exposure to the Women’s Basketball team in the Memphis community, increase attendance at home games, and raise money to help support the program.
The success of the Fastbreak Club in the past has recently enabled two major events for the University of Memphis program.
On August 15-25, 2011 the team went on a 10 day, 4 city tour of Italy. During the trip the team played 4 professional teams in Florence, Rome, Venice, and Lake Como and came back with an undefeated record of 4-0!
In addition, the club assisted in the funding of a two phase remodeling of the Women’s Basketball and Volleyball locker rooms complete with state of the art player and coach locker rooms, lounge, shower facilities, media room, athletic training room, and weight room.
